My numbers are way down cuz I haven’t posted anything in awhile! Been too busy w/wounds, hospitals in hopes of healing them, rehab to give me time to finish healing them and regain strength, etc. Due to the “stay off your rear to let your wounds heal!” edicts, typing is a bit awkward! Have you ever tried to type while lying on your side w/a wedge shoved under you to keep you there?!?!?! I’m talented, but not coordinated, so that didn’t happen for weeks! Very frustrating to not be able to finish SCARS or get it and Pirated Plot uploaded!
BOOKS!
PIRATED PLOT is up! Cover for paperback is being stubborn, so I’m focusing on SCARS instead of continuing to fight that losing battle!!!
SCARS is finished and uploaded, but again, the cover is the issue! I may just got w/a standard, boring cover just to get it DONE! Look for it in a few days. I’m done for the night, so it’ll be tomorrow when I’m brave enough to try again.
MEDICAL: Not gonna bore you w/more details about my mess! Nothing really new: just a rebellious body that won’t accept the healing Jesus already bought and paid for!
Family: surviving as best they can as I’m in hospital for a week, then rehab for 2 weeks AGAIN!!! SO TIRED OF THIS!!!! WHY CAN’T I JUST GO HOME (all caps meaning Heaven, not Burleson!) ?! Trying to encourage others when I’m in pain most of the day is harder than it used to be. Exhaustion rules most of the day! NPA’s interrupt most of the nights! Rude of them! I cry in rehab when I see some who are sooooooo much worse off than I am, and some soooo young! Saw a lady who reminds me very much of my “partner in crime” as Page Co-Chair for Republican State Convention for 10 years. She looked like what she may look like in 10 years, all hunched over her walker and barely moving. I CRIED!!! My therapist wanted to know what was wrong (she’s used to seeing me cry from nerve pain attacks often!), and when I showed her the pic of my dear friend, then pointed at the lady, she understood.
